Mechanical Fitters - Northern Bowen Basin

As our Northern Team continues to grow, we're seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to support planned maintenance and project work across a variety of mine sites and port operations. These DIDO positions include meals and accommodation and offer the opportunity to join a well-established team with consistent work ahead.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll use your trade skills and experience to deliver high-quality maintenance safely and efficiently. These roles suit motivated tradespeople who enjoy working across a variety of sites, are adaptable to different work fronts, and take pride in producing quality workmanship every time.

Various Employment Options

Casual/Ad Hoc Opportunities

Tradespeople

  • $72.00/hr Flat Rate (Weekdays)

  • $77.00/hr Flat Rate (Nights & Weekends)

  • Option to work under the applicable penalty-rate agreement if preferred

Maximum Term/Permanent – 4/3 Roster

Tradespeople

  • $60.00/hr Day Shift

  • $65.00/hr Night Shift

  • Additional out-of-roster work paid at applicable overtime rates

Suitable candidates will have:

  • Relevant Trade Certification

  • Standard 11 / BMA Core Induction

  • Confined Spaces / Working at Heights / Gas Test Atmospheres

  • Current Drivers Licence
