Richglen Maintenance Services is seeking Reliability Engineers to improve performance and reliability across draglines, electric shovels, and supporting field fleets in a dragline-intensive coal mining operation.

About the Role

You will play a key role in ensuring dragline and shovel assets operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Your work will directly influence maintenance strategies, operational decisions, and overall asset performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on draglines, shovels, and auxiliary equipment to reduce unplanned downtime

  • Analysing dragline and shovel performance and condition-monitoring data to identify trends and improvement opportunities

  • Developing and reviewing maintenance strategies tailored to draglines and heavy mobile equipment

  • Collaborating with maintenance teams, operations, and OEMs to optimise dragline component life cycles and intervention schedules

  • Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field teams

  • Monitoring condition-based maintenance (CBM) activities on draglines and shovels, ensuring timely action

  • Preparing reliability dashboards, reports, and recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Ensuring all engineering activities align with site safety standards and statutory requirements

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering, or relevant trade background with extensive experience

  • Strong understanding of draglines, electric shovels, and heavy mobile equipment

  • you are an experienced Dragline/Shovel/Field fitter looking for a new challenge of the tools

  • Proficiency in data analysis, condition monitoring, and reliability tools

  • SAP experience preferred but not essential

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams

  • Results-driven, proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement

  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
