Richglen Maintenance Services is expanding its Electrical Area of Operations and is seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors & Electricians to join our team.

With diverse work across the Bowen Basin, you’ll be involved in scheduled maintenance, projects and shutdowns across CHPPs, draglines and shovels.

🚧 2026 is shaping up to be a busy year, with our next major shutdown commencing in March. We’re looking for motivated electrical professionals ready to grow with us across multiple sites.

Requirements – Applicable to All Roles

You must have (or be willing to obtain):
• Electrical Mechanic or Electrical Fitter Mechanic Trade Certificate
• QLD Electrical Licence
• Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000
• Current CPR/LVR
• Standard 11
• Coal Board Medical
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Working at Heights, Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres

Additionally, you will bring:
• Strong safety focus and understanding of the Coal Mine Safety & Health Act & Regulations
• Experience in mining electrical maintenance or shutdown environments
• Ability to communicate clearly, lead teams and work efficiently
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills

Role-Specific Responsibilities

🔧Electrical Supervisor

• Lead day-to-day electrical maintenance, project and shutdown activities
• Allocate work, manage permits and monitor safety compliance
• Mentor electricians, trades assistants and apprentices
• Ensure safe execution of all tasks under your leadership
• Communicate progress with superintendents, project managers and clients

⚡Electrician – Key Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance, fault finding and repairs on CHPPs, draglines & shovels
• Execute shutdown, breakdown and planned maintenance works
• Install, test and commission electrical systems and equipment
• Interpret drawings and follow site procedures & AS/NZS 3000
• Complete isolations, permits and job documentation
• Maintain high safety, quality and housekeeping standards
