Richglen Maintenance Services is expanding its Electrical Area of Operations and is seeking Electrical Supervisors, Electrical Superintendents, and Electrical Project Managers to join our team. With diverse work across the Bowen Basin, you’ll be involved in scheduled maintenance, Projects & Shutdowns on CHPP’s & Draglines/ Shovels.

Requirements – Applicable to All Roles
You must have (or be willing to obtain):
Electrical Mechanic or Electrical Fitter Mechanic Trade Certification
QLD Electrical Licence
Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000
Current CPR/LVR
Standard 11
Coal Board Medical
Valid Driver’s Licence
Working at Heights, Confined Space, Gas Test Atmospheres
Additionally, you will bring:
Strong safety focus and understanding of the Coal Mine Safety & Health Act & Regs.
Experience in mining electrical maintenance or shutdown environments
Ability to communicate clearly, lead teams, and work efficiently
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Role-Specific Responsibilities
🔧 Electrical Supervisor
Lead day-to-day electrical maintenance, project or shutdown tasks
Allocate work, manage permits, monitor safety & compliance
Mentor, guide and support electricians, trades assistants and apprentices
Ensure safe execution of all tasks under your leadership
Communicate shift progress with superintendents/ project managers & clients
🛠 Electrical Superintendent
Oversee multiple crews and supervisors across various work fronts
Manage project/ shutdown and maintenance execution across sites
Coordinate labour, equipment, and scheduling
Resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with company/ client and site standards
Report progress, risks, and priorities to clients and management
📁 Electrical Project Manager
Lead planning and full delivery of electrical shutdowns & maintenance projects
Manage budgets, schedules, scopes, and resources
Develop project documentation, scopes of work, and reporting
Engage with clients, engineers, and site teams
Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, efficiency and productivity.
