Join Richglen Maintenance Services as our new Digital Content Creator and help bring the Richglen story to life across our social media, website, and marketing channels.

Based in Mackay, you will work closely with our Marketing and Operations teams to capture real moments from our mine sites, workshops, projects, and offices. If you are creative, organised, and people focused, we want to hear from you.

  • Digital Content Creator

THE ROLE

In this role you will

  • Capture photo and video content across sites, workshops, and office locations

  • Plan, create, and schedule content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms

  • Develop engaging captions and stories that highlight our people, projects, and community involvement

  • Maintain a content calendar and support broader marketing campaigns and recruitment activity

  • Liaise with supervisors, workforce planning, and site teams to coordinate content opportunities

  • Assist with basic graphic design using platforms such as Canva

  • Support updates to the Richglen website and other digital channels

  • Monitor engagement and provide simple reports on what is working and where we can improve

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Experience in social media management, digital content creation, or a similar role

  • Confident using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Meta Business Suite

  • Strong written communication skills and an eye for visual detail

  • Photography and basic video editing skills, with the ability to shoot on phone or camera

  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, supportive team

  • Well organised with good time management and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Current drivers licence and willingness to travel to local sites and events when required

Desirable

  • Experience in a trade, mining, construction, or industrial environment

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and basic website content management
