Registrations open for 2026 School of the year
Richglen is donating $10,000 to the Star School of the Year 2026
Richglen, in collaboration with Star 101.9, is proud to launch the Star’s School of the Year 2026, giving one deserving local school a $10,000 boost to support their students, programs or facilities.
Registrations open at 6:00am on Monday, 1 July, and close at 3:00pm on Friday, 14 August. To enter, simply register via the link provided and tell us, in 100 words or less, how your school would use the $10,000.
Following the registration period, the community will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite school from 21 August to 3 September. To ensure fairness, votes will be measured as a percentage of each school's total student population. The top three schools will each receive a live breakfast broadcast with Scotty & Kaley from 7–9 September.
The overall winner will then be announced on 11 September, with a surprise visit from the Richglen and Star 101.9 teams and the presentation of the $10,000 cheque.
We'll also be running a fun Tuckshop Takeover competition alongside the major prize, giving schools another exciting opportunity to get involved. We encourage students and staff to get creative and join in the fun.
