Richglen named finalist in 2025 RIN Champion Culture Award

Richglen finalist in RIN Awards

We’re proud to share that Richglen has been announced as a finalist in the 2025 Resource Industry Network (RIN) Awards, recognised in the Champion Culture Award category.

This recognition means a great deal to us – because at Richglen, culture isn’t a buzzword. It’s something we build every day through connection, care, and genuine investment in our people.

Over the past 12 months, we’ve taken deliberate steps to strengthen our culture from the ground up. From our recognition barbecues, private Facebook group and service rewards to internal progression pathways and mental health support, our focus has been clear: create a workplace where people feel supported, valued, and proud to be part of the team.

Our people-first approach includes:

  • A 93% apprentice retention rate and tailored pathways for career growth

  • A thriving Graduate Engineer and Co-op Student Program

  • Strong internal mobility, with 16% of our workforce actively progressing within the company

  • Accredited Mental Health First Aiders and structured wellbeing support

  • A 71% retention rate for new-to-industry workers

We’re also proud of the powerful outcomes we've achieved, from higher employee satisfaction and referral rates – employee referrals account for 29% of all new hires – to lower turnover and stronger team performance.

The Champion Culture Award celebrates businesses that walk the talk when it comes to people and culture and we’re honoured to be recognised alongside other outstanding local organisations.

The winner will be announced on Friday, August 22, and we look forward to celebrating the people behind our success.

At Richglen, we don’t just maintain equipment, we build careers, communities, and culture.

Driven by progress, powered by our people.
